What Will You Do in the End Thereof? | |
So, you want to have it your
way. You must have those pleasures that you love. You find a way to justify them . You delight in your way and in fulfilling
the desires of your heart. You find someone who says "It's all good!" But what will you do in the end thereof? Are
you so sure of yourself? Your way is the broad way, my friend. It leads to nothing but destruction. You can dress it up like
it's the right way, but it is not. You can call it "Your truth", but it's a lie. Jesus said:"I am the
way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but by me." and He said in Mat 7:13&14 "Enter ye in
at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in
thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
Repent! Believe the Gospel! Deny ungodly lusts and live soberly and
righteously in this world. Come to Jesus. Let him deliver you and instruct you in His ways.He came to take away our sins,
and to give us eternal life, but you must die. You must confess Him Lord and believe that He rose from the dead, then be baptized
(immersed) into His death. You must die that He may live in you. You must truly take up your cross and follow Jesus every
day. You must let him lead you in righteous paths to break you. In Mat 21:44 Jesus said," And whosoever shall fall
on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder." You
must not keep feeding on the things of the world, but rather feed on His Word . Let the Holy Spirit teach you the truth. He
is called the Spirit of Truth. Please take a few moments and consider:
If you go the Lord's narrow way it is the way of the cross. You will be persecuted, you will be hated, but He will be with
you all the way, to comfort, strengthen and bless you in giving to others. You have , Lord willing, an opportunity right now
to turn your life over to Him and let Him begin to change you and bless you by turning you from your iniquities. Let
Him teach you the truth, deliver you from every lie, set you free, and break you so that you will come to the place where
you delight to do His will and you will begin to bear fruit in this life, you will overcome the things that presently are
making you and those around you miserable. When He returns you will be taken up to meet Him in the clouds, and thus shall
you ever be with the Lord, in His kingdom wherein only righteousness dwells. He will personally wipe away every tear from
your eyes. You will have a new glorified body, you will be like Him, living in the New Jerusalem, the city of God, forever
in righteousness, peace and joy, serving the Lord Jesus and the Father, dwelling in the mansion that He has prepared for you. Why do you chose rather to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season and give all of what I
just described up in exchange for eternal torment where the fire is not quenched and the worm never dies? It's real folks.
If you will not repent, no matter what anyone says to the contrary, you will end up there, forever. You know, God has not changed. He is the same God that opened the ground under the dwellings of Korah, Dathan, and
Abiram after they came against Moses and Aaron, stirring up the whole congregation of the children of Israel, so that
those three, and their children and everything pertaining to them went down alive into the pit; as it is written in Num
16. In Ex 34, the Lord passed by before Moses and proclaimed, "The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering,
and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will
by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto
the third and to the fourth generation." He hasn't changed. He said in Mal 3:5&6 "And I will come near to you
to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers,
and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger
from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts. For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob
are not consumed. " If you are guilty He will not clear you. You
must repent of your sins and turn to Jesus . The Father in Heaven, because He loves you so much, has made every
provision for you to be forgiven and to overcome sin and the world by giving His only Son Jesus upon the cross to shed His
blood who knew no sin, and fully atone for all our sins forever. He said in 1John1:8&9 If we say that we have no
sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us
our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. He is the same
God who inspired the writer of Hebrews to say in Heb 10:26-31 For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge
of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation,
which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath
counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of
grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The
Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Also, Jer 5:22-31 Fear ye not me? saith the LORD: will ye not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea
by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though
they roar, yet can they not pass over it? But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted
and gone. Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the LORD our God, that giveth rain, both the former and the
latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest. Your iniquities have turned away these
things, and your sins have withholden good things from you. For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait,
as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men. As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of
deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich. They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds
of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they
not judge. Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land; The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule
by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof? Finally, in Rev 2:18-29 Jesus said, And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son
of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; I know thy works, and charity,
and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. Notwithstanding I have
a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to
seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of
her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into
great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches
shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
Make no mistake, the Lord will judge His people. Will you chose
life or death? |
